house stuff

Well, I don't have a ton of pictures of the finished product yet-probably because we're not finished. But I do have some pictures of the progress we've made on the house so far! We got all new carpet in the bedrooms (thanks to Sydney & Maverick) and Matt put hardwood floors down in the living room/kitchen area. It looks SO good! We love it, not to mention the house smells so much better now! We also took on a few othere projects, few being the key word here. It will take us a little bit to finish them all up but that's what weekends are for right :)

this is where it gets funny...PAINT!
well, we wanted to paint our house yellow. not bright yellow, just the pretty muted yellow's you see in movies and stuff. clearly, this did not work. paint swatches look WAY different on the wall than in the store.

So, we ended up painting it brown, haha. It's a darker shade than what we already had, and it's really pretty! And most importantly, we love it! I promise to get some more pictures up soon once everything is done!
