lazy weekend

Hello everyone! We had a pretty lazy weekend here, don't you love those? We watched a lot of the Olympics and just relaxed! We decided to go get ice cream on Saturday and went to this place in town that has 80, yes EIGHTY, flavors of hershey's ice cream! It's SOOO good, we love it!

We also decided to go to the pet store and happened to find a shar-pei puppy! Matt has ALWAYS wanted one of these, but of course we can't handle a 3rd dog right now, nor are we allowed to have 3 dogs on base. So we settled for just playing with him at the pet store. He was a cutie!

So we bought this thing called a peticure. It's a nail grinder for dogs, so you can do their nails at home and not have to pay upwards of $10/dog out in town. I don't even think stores such at Petsmart do a good job anyways! So we used it and LOVE it! It's so easy to use and doesn't hurt the dogs one bit. It also "rounds off" their nails so they don't scratch us as badly. Sydney & Maverick are still a little skeptical of it, I think the sound scares them, but I'm sure they'll eventually get used to it. If you want to check them out, here their website.
